Travel journal/diary ideas?

i was starting to think i should start a travel journal/diary so in the future i can remember my trips.
anyways,i was thinking i would buy a molekin unlined notebook or a sketchbook
if i buy a sketchbook, would you recommend one with a coil? or one with like a hardcover spine :S

My son always keeps a diary when we travel, it’s great looking back over then years later and reliving it, Buy a coil note book, i would suggest unlined so you can stick things in it.
