What are the most common laptops in the UK?

I am a 17 year old preparing to study in the UK next year and wanted to ask what are the most common laptops in Britain (what if mine broke and I needed to have it repaired and so on – and I also don’t want to look like a total idiot with a computer no one will know how to work with). Thanks for your help. You can include particular tips if you feel like it. =)

I would personally recommend a dell, they are reliable, not the most cheapest on the market but are very trusted and have great support if broken etc. Also you can customize your dell so it fits around your specification.

For studying like yourself and you was to pick a dell i would recommend a studio laptop, excellent for studying good storage and if you play the occasional game it can do so.
