What’s the best netbook I can get for less than $250?

I’m starting high school in the fall of 2009 as a freshman, and I wanted to get a netbook in case there’s any online quizzes or homework assignments. For those of you who aren’t too sure what a netbook is, it’s a small version of a laptop, kind of like a mini laptop. I don’t want anything from Apple, because they’re WAY too expensive, unless there’s a netbook from Apple under $250. Thanks for all of your help!

Being totally honest $300 is the lowest price for a new netbook. (You really don’t want used or second hand).

P.S: This is optional, however HIGHLY recommended. When you buy your netbook, upgrade it to 2GB of RAM. (Research this, most likely to cost $30 or so at a computer shop.) This will greatly improve your netbooks performance.

Also I would warn you, netbooks don’t come with CD/DVD drives. (Can’t put a CD/DVD into the netbook), so a external one(which you just plug into the netbook) would have to be bought, costing $50-$100.

All in all most likely you SHOULD spend $400.
